Things to Consider when Selling your Home A home is a place where an individual, family or household reside either permanently or semi permanently. Mostly, homes are made up of house, apartment, and other buildings such as houseboat, yurt or any other moveable accommodation. Additionally, according to the United Nation Declaration of Human Rights article 12, a house is under the standard of legitimate law as purity of the home as a person’s place of accommodation and refuge. Homes characteristically offer zones and facilities for resting, cooking food, eating and hygiene. Nursing homes, monastery or children homes can accommodate a large number of people. Additionally, homes may also consist of agricultural land and facilities for tamed animals. However, sometimes due to financial constraints individuals may decide to live in the informal and at times illegal huts that are mostly found in slums and shanty towns. In general, a home can be a geographic area, like a town, a village, a suburb, city, or a country at large. Houses can be buildings, portable shelters such as mobile homes, houseboat, and yurt or informal shelters such as shacks. A house is a building that works as a home for individuals ranging from modest houses like basic sheds of nomadic people to complex, immovable constructions of timber, block, or other materials that contain water system, air circulation, and electrical systems. Mostly, modern houses comprise of bedchambers, lavatories, kitchenettes and living room. In traditional homes, the home owners do share the rooms with their domestic animals such as chickens and cattle. A terraced house refers to a style of housing in which a row of matching or mirror-image households share side walls, whereas semi-detached housing are made of pairs of households constructed side-by-side and that share a wall with reflected layouts. It is recommended that house owners stage their houses before selling. In the real estate, home staging is the process of preparing a private home for sale in the real estate market place. Home staging aims at preparing a home so that it can be attractive to a large number of prospective buyers, hence selling the house faster and for more money. In most cases, home owners use arts, watercolor, decorations, illuminations, vegetation, and carpeting to stage the home, to give prospective purchasers an extra attractive first impression of the building. A house owner can decide to sell the house by themselves or hire a real estate broker. A real estate agent is an individual who acts as an intercessor between home sellers and prospective buyers and tries to look up for sellers who desire to sell and buyers who request to buy.
