Surviving Your Child’s Changing Sleeping Pattern
Once you have a child, you are introduced to this whole new world where you are in a state of worry. There are various changes to adapt to key of them being sleeping patterns. During the infancy stage of a child, you will be lucky if you get three hours of solid sleep. You are however able to catch some break when they are toddlers and get more than three hours of sleep. Sleeping patterns become regular when you child is independent and more or less going to kindergarten.
At infancy stage, the sleep pattern may be dependent on how you feed your baby. There are a few benefits associated with breastfeeding though it may be a personal decision. You get to burn more calories and baby fat when you breastfeed. Breastfeeding also passes on important nutrients to children. The nutrients that the baby gets from breastfeeding helps to build their immunity. A child and the mother bond strongly during their breast feeding time.
Not having any or sufficient amounts of milk may be one reason why some mothers choose to not breastfeed. Using formula is however an independent decision and even if you can breast feed you can still opt for it. Whatever you decide you will find that there is a distinct sleeping pattern based on how you feed your baby.
If you are breastfeeding, you may not get more than three hours of sleep since you have to wake up from time to time to feed your baby. You will get a solid sleep rhythm when you monitor your patterns.
Those that use formula milk have a three-hour grace period before the child wakes up provided their diaper is dry. When your pattern is a bit regular, you can plan around such timings.

Some kids may wake up at night to look for their parents and others may call out for their parents in the middle of the night but you will at least have more than three hours of sleep.

There is enough time in the morning now to reward yourself with a cup of coffee thanks to the normal sleeping pattern .
